Bumblebee Cottage is a mid terrace cottage situated close to the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and offers off road parking outside the house (rare in the area!), sun deck and garden. From the sun deck, living room and main bedroom there are magnificent views down Kingswear Creek across the river Dart to Dartmouth and the Naval College.
The cottage is comfortably furnished and has recently been redecorated in a fresh, cottagey style with French influences. Entered via a stable door, on the ground floor it features a hand built painted kitchen with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, oven, hob and extractor and lounge/diner with wood burner.
A spiral wooden staircase (which makes the property unsuitable for the infirm) leads up to a master bedroom on the 1st floor, with double bed and walk in wardrobe plus separate bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and hand basin and down to 2 bedrooms on the lower ground floor.
The lower ground offers a single bedroom with bunk beds, a double bedroom and separate bathroom with shower, hand basin and toilet plus washing machine. This floor gives access to the sun deck (with table and chairs and barbecue) with magnificent views and to a further garden area. There is also a secluded inner courtyard to enjoy.
All linen and towels (excluding bathing/swimming towels) are included. A cot and highchair can be provided for young children plus stairgates. |
